Occasional Offerings

Re-New-You Day

The invitation:  Truly set aside time to renew and recharge! You choose your day and the theme, and I create a retreat experience just for you.

The experience:  Gift yourself or a loved one with a facilitated solo (or with a few friends) retreat/you-day. This is a wonderful way to ensure that you truly take time for yourself. We will talk first so I can custom-design this day specially for you. The time will focus on a theme of your choice such as deep relaxation, health, balance, self-discovery, goal-setting, letting go, new practices, embracing a new life stage, or connecting with nature.

 Past Events

Here is a sampling of open-to-all and “commissioned” workshops and retreats that I’ve had the joy of facilitating in the realms of personal and professional development.  Please be in touch to discuss your and/or your team’s interests!

Embracing the Third Third

WHO: Members-only workshop commissioned by a group of friends.

WHAT: As you enter your “third third” of life, there’s no better time to continue the journey of befriending transition, embracing this important developmental stage, and stepping toward wise and liberatory elderhood.

This mini-retreat will be a warm, multi-sensory, and interactive space to enjoy reflection, deep conversation, poetry, music, a beautiful farm, and one another.

Designing for Life’s Transitions

WHO: Community members workshop for: Elon University/Alamance Better Together.

WHAT: How might you design for life’s major transitions? Becoming a parent. Losing a job. Recovering from serious illness. Getting divorced. Graduating. Becoming a senior citizen. Getting elected. Winning the lottery.

Whether welcomed or not, major life transitions provide great opportunities for learning and growing.

Befriending Transitions

WHO: Members-only workshop for: Wellesley College Reunion Celebration.

WHAT: There are many ways to befriend transition – to see it as our ally and to receive its gifts, even its challenging gifts. And there’s no better time than now, when everyone has been asked to transition, to build this relationship with transition. It serves us for our whole lives.
